This next expansion for Destiny 2 has been delayed for some time, with the COVID-19 pandemic having a major impact on production. The next release is set to come out in late February 2022, and looks set to finally offer a new story experience for Destiny 2 fans waiting for something fresh and new. At the moment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will be the fifth expansion for this online shooter developed by Bungie. On top of that, a series of new additions will come along to make sure that Destiny 2 is more than capable of feeling modern for the rest of 2022 and beyond. It’s a good time to jump in, with a host of new content and a whole new story section that you can try out. How exactly this is going to work, I am not sure, but it is one of the main things I am excited about.ĭestiny 2: The Witch Queen provides a new and exciting opportunity for everyone who has not yet tried the hit shooter. It sounds very interesting and the idea is that players can have this special weapon that they can tinker with so it suits their playstyle specifically. Instead, this will allow players to customize the abilities of their glaive. This is a short and long ranged weapon, but it is not like other weapons that have their randomized perks.

Now, I already mentioned that there were new weapons, but this is something really new. There is one last thing about Destiny 2: The Witch Queen that I want to specifically talk about and that is the glaive which is a new weapon type.

They also have lots of new PVP maps, a brand new raid and there are of course lots of new weapons and equipment that you can play around with as well. From PVE sections to a lot of content for those that like to play Destiny solo, this is going to be stacked with content. It should go without saying, but Destiny 2: The Witch Queen has a ton of new content for keeping you busy for a very long time and that is not even counting the updates that this is going to get. I cannot want to dive into this place, learn more about it and do some serious exploration. This place is just so crazy, you have places like Savathûn’s Palace that will make you say wow due to its sheer impressive nature, but you also have swamps and other off the beaten path type areas that look kind of grim and dirty, but awesome in their own right. The new setting for the game, Savathûn’s Throne World is the coolest looking place in Destiny so far if you ask me.
